A Day At Cafe Neo

Hello Darlings, How’s the new month going? It has been going on well but sometimes I get this feeling that I’ve actually not achieved all that I planned  at the beginning of the year but in all I’m grateful to God for everything!

I’ve heard about cafe Neo from some of my friends but I’ve never  planned to go there because most of their shops are on the island in Lagos and I stay on the mainland. If you stay on the mainland, you’ll understand the struggle when you decide to go to the Island like how to  avoid traffic, cab fare and so many other things before leaving your house. I was excited when I saw their tweet on Twitter about opening a new shop at E-Center Sabo-Yaba (Yaaay!thats like N70 bus fare and N500 yellow cab) from my House. Trust me my pricing skills is on a great level Lol.

I finally visited  Cafe Neo after  The Blogger Point Blogger’s Brunch with Alex and Praise. I didn’t  have any expectations before going as I’m not really a coffee person but I promised myself that I was going to  try something I’ve never had before and have fun.

I was very happy  when I entered the shop and I loved the fact that it had this feeling of comfort, warmth and relaxation. I was welcomed with the waiter asking if I was Nigerian or not. He kept on insisting that  I didn’t look Nigerian and I was laughing because I’m so Nigerian and Delta Igbo for that matter Lol.

I ordered Iced caramel Latte which cost N1500 , Alex ordered Caramel frappucino which cost N1300 and Praise had Iced mocha which cost N1500. Praise ordered chocolate cake with her coffee which cost N500. My coffee tasted so good and I didn’t want it to finish.

I wanted to have doughnuts so bad but I was pained when i found out they didn’t have. I decided not to have anything with my coffee but I was lowkey “eyeing” Praise chocolate cake, she’s so nice she decided to share with me.

After you order and pay you’ll be given a paper with a Wifi password and I think that’s super cool because  the struggle for free wifi is real these days. I was shocked that it was connected for a very long time because we stayed till like 7pm.

Cafe Neo is actually a good place for a date with Bae or intending bae and maybe when I finally have a bae we would visit together (Wizkid I hope you are reading this ). It’s also a good place to brainstorm, meet up with friends, complete projects with your laptop as there is even free wifi and to just chill.

I’ll  definitely  be visiting there again and you guys should really try the place and taste their very sweet coffee and pastries.
